Perfect location to explore the lovely town of Winchester, only one street back from the high street.

The house itself was a good size for our family of four and Desiree was very kind to organise a travel cot and high chair for our youngest.

The pub next door means that there is some late night noise at closing time as everyone walks past the house, the back room was much quieter for the kids though.
We did get a shock on the first night when the pub emptied the bottles into the wheelie bin but thankfully it only happened once a day!

There is no space to park a car at the house, but Desiree does provide a parking permit which can be used in the nearby streets(never more than a 5 minute walk) and we found there to be no problem pulling the car up outside the house to load/unload the kids.

We had a great holiday in Winchester and would definitely stay at Honeysuckle Cottage again.

Response from Desiree:

Great having you stay - yes unfortunately there is a trade off between the city centre location and the city centre night noise.
