In response to Guests who do not wish to be parted from their pets we - Welcome Pets - providing you with the confidence that you are booking quality accommodation that meets your and your pet’s particular needs.
 
Taking pets away when enjoying a break in England is an increasing trend.
Nearly 2 million dog owners and around 1 million cat owners in England take their pets away when enjoying a break away from home.

Our in-house policy

 

  • No pets sleeping in bedrooms
  • Pet owners are expected to use protective throws for furniture this can be arranged/provided for at the time of booking
  • Following each departure, all areas used by pets are cleaned thoroughly to remove any evidence of them including odours (chargable)
  •  
    Any damage/breakage caused by the pet will be charged and deducted from the damages deposit
  • The restrictions on the type and size of pet we accept and the additional charges for accommodating pets are agreed prior to arrival.

 

Facilities and Services

 

  • A water bowl, food bowl and a protective feeding mat are available for the sole use of each pet accommodated.
  • Pre buying of food for pets service is available (chargeable).
  • Torch, nightlights.
  • Storage space provided outside under PVC cover for animal transportation crate/ cage brought by owners.


Cats:

  • A litter tray, litter scoop and disposal bags are provided
  • Suitable disposal facilities are provided e.g. lidded bin

  • Toys (chargeable)

  • Chews/treats (chargeable)

  • Bedding (chargeable)

  • Spare leads (chargeable)

Dogs:

  • A scoop and disposal bags are provided.
  • Where dogs are permitted access to the garden, a dedicated bin for waste disposal is provided
  • Pet washing facilities available, including bucket, hose and towel
  • Toys (chargeable)
  • Chews/treats (chargeable)
  • Bedding (chargeable)
  • Spare leads (chargeable)

Safety and Security:

 

  • Where hazards exist for pets our procedures have to be put place.
  • Where kennels are required we have a list of reputable providers in the area giving adequate security and access for Owners (24 hour access by arrangement with the provider)
  • Where dogs have free access to garden areas, suitable fencing is provided

The following local information is displayed in the Property Information Folder (Bedroom Browser) in each property and is readily accessible.

 

Details include where pets are accepted, directions, opening times, out of hours contact details and contact telephone numbers - including distances from the accommodation and other relevant information e.g. pet size restrictions
